Help Abby, Colin, & Stella with wildfire recovery

Our family (Abby, Colin, and Stella, age 4) lost our home in Superior, CO during the Marshall wildfire of December 30, 2021. Our house - like all the over 300 houses in the Sagamore subdivision (see photo below) where we lived - burned to the foundation. While we were lucky enough to all be away from home when the fire hit, we were left with only what we had with us to run errands that morning.

 

The next few months and years will be filled with rental housing, house rebuilding, and an effort to recreate our home. We do have insurance but insurance never covers everything so we anticipate additional costs to replace belongings and maintain housing in Boulder near our family and Stella's schools. Any contributions we don't end up needing will be distributed to our displaced neighbors and the Boulder Community Foundation's wildfire fund.

 

We deeply appreciate any contributions you choose to make - not just for any money you contribute but also for the demonstration of love and support. The outpouring of offers to help and words of encouragement we've received have meant the world to us. We know we will make it through this with our amazing community.
