Hi my name is Abby Langh and I'm an actor, model, screenwriter, and a director. I am currently a student at California Institute of the Arts and an aspiring content creator. I am currently saving up to buy my first camera. My goal is to able to buy a used Sony A7SIII so that I can create more film content and start producing my own photoshoots. I have often had to rely on others to make my own films and content, but by getting my own camera, I can have more creative freedom and autonomy over my work.
I have been an actor on numerous short film projects, but I started my own production company in Fall of 2024. I have made 5 original film projects since then, while learning how to edit, direct, write scripts, act on camera, production design, DP, and numerous other skills involved in creating art.
My dream is to continue to make queer centric lesbian films. My work focuses on putting women front and center of the narrative. Through writing and acting in my own work, I have been able to create roles that go beyond the "girlfriend" trope and expand the autonomy of female characters in their own stories. As I continue my filmmaking journey, I want to continue being inspired by what women have fought for and our societal progress. I want to make strides to do more queer female-centric work and play more multidimensional characters because women should not be seen as secondary in society or the arts.
I am currently too broke to afford to buy my own camera, and am saving my money for life expenses and school. By donating to help me afford my own camera, I can continue to make the art I want while still being a fulltime student.
