Help Abby and Bryan in a time of great difficulty

Dear friends, acquaintances, and fellow generously-minded people: Bryan and Abby Johnson are facing overhwelming challenges right now and they desperately need any and all support and assistance we can give them.

Here is their story:

Bryan and Abby are amazing, good, hardworking people who have spent the last 3 years trying to start a family. After much effort, money, and heartbreak, they finally had their dreams come true and Abby got pregnant. However, the time of happiness over this great news was to be short lived. Soon after, Bryan completely ruptured the major ligaments of his knee (ACL, LCL, PFL) and has required not one but two surgeries since September of last year, which has left him unable to work. Nevertheless, Bryan and Abby forged forward looking toward the birth of their son. That, however, proved to offer another devasting hardship. Their beautiful baby boy Hendrix was born on February 8th, but Abby experienced a terribly difficult childbirth. In fact, Abby has not had feeling in her lower legs since delivering her baby, and thus she cannot walk at all, which means that as a hairdresser she cannot work. On top of all this, they live on the third floor, and haven't even been able to go home to their own place. Abby will need ongiong, expensive medical care, including leg braces, complicated neurology procedures, and ongoing physical therapy, to say the least.

The unexpected mounting medical bills are a crushing obstacle for this beautiful young family. As you can understand, those of us who are family and friends are devastated and heartbroken about what is happening to Bryan and Abby, and we want to do anything possible to help.
