Help Abby and Brandon Gillingham save for IVF
Donation protected
I met Abby a few years ago when she was the director of Sylvan learning center. I was closed off and quiet and not doing very well in school. She tried to get to know me and help me be successful in school. She quickly became someone I grew extremely close to and looked up to and fast forward to today she is one of the most important people in my life and I would do anything for her.
For the last 4.5 years Abby and her husband, Brandon have been fighting and done everything they could to have children. They went through test after test, medication, IUI, surgery for endometriosis, and so on. They have exhausted all their options and they were given the news that IVF is their only option in hopes of.
As most of you know, IVF is incredibly expensive with reaching the outrages price of $20,000 + and insurance doesn’t cover a single dollar. Abby has mentioned to me many times that her and her husband are always talking about how they can make IVF happen. They have applied for IVF grants and are on a waitlist at clinics outside of WA which are more cost effective.
They wanted to do more than just set up a gofundme and ask for donations, but I wanted to set this gofundme up because any dollar helps. If you wanted to donate in another way, they created their own fundraiser to accept donations, through their own small business, North Pine Farm. Abby made her own candles with the scents of Christmas Trees, Grapefruit, and Warm Vanilla. The candles are $50 dollars, and they know they are overpriced but every dollar towards the purchase of their candles goes to their saving fund for IVF. It is a 16oz candle and it will burn for 60-70 hours. If you would like to purchase a candle you can head to her Facebook, or mine and click the link.
If you are able to donate to this go fund me, buy a candle, or even share this go fund me, Abby and Brandon would appreciate it so much and it would mean a lot to them.
