On Tuesday morning, June 30, 2026, my sister Abbie, her husband Ken, and their son Spencer lost their home, garage, and outbuildings in the Aspen Acres wildfire in southern Colorado. The fire moved quickly, and the voluntary evacuation order was replaced with a mandatory order within just five minutes. They were able to gather their pets and retrieve important documents, but had to leave almost everything else behind. While we are grateful that they are safe, the devastation has left them facing a long and difficult road ahead.
The funds raised will help Abbie, Ken, and Spencer secure temporary housing, replace essential living supplies, and cover daily expenses as they work to rebuild their lives. With so much lost in such a short time, every bit of support will make a meaningful difference in their recovery. Your generosity will help them meet immediate needs and provide hope as they navigate the challenges ahead.
Please join me in supporting Abbie, Ken, and Spencer during this incredibly tough time. If you are able, your donation will help them start the process of healing and rebuilding. Thank you for considering a gift to help my family get back on their feet.
