This past week, Abbi endured an unimaginable tragedy. She was the victim of a domestic violence attack when she was shot four times by her husband, who tragically took his own life. By a miracle, she survived. However, she now faces a long and difficult journey of recovery—both physically and emotionally.

Abbi is a dedicated mother of four wonderful children (9, 6, 5, 10 months), all of whom were witnesses. While she heals she will be unable to work, losing her family's primary source of income. Even once she heals physically, there will be a long road of recovery for her children.
