Abbey has been by my side through some of the hardest years of my life. As I navigate a divorce that has stretched on for over five years, she’s been my constant companion—offering comfort, love, and a reason to keep going even on the toughest days. Now, Abbey is facing her own challenge: gingival hyperplasia, a painful overgrowth of gum tissue that makes it hard for her to eat and enjoy life. She needs surgery, medication, and aftercare to recover and get back to her happy, healthy self.

Unfortunately, the financial strain of my ongoing divorce and being left to pay for a property in Mississippi on my own has left my bank account rung dry every month. I simply don’t have the means to save up for Abbey’s surgery, no matter how much I want to help her. It breaks my heart to see her in pain, knowing I can’t give her the care she deserves without support.
