Help Abandoned Dogs in Cayo Belize

Please HELP reduce the number of neglected and abandoned dogs in Belize by supporting Spay/Neuter.

My name is Susanne McMillan. I rescue abandoned dogs – mostly puppies - in Cayo, Belize.
Stray, underfed, neglected animals, mostly dogs, are a common sight in Belize. Even though life for domestic animals is steadily improving, the need is still great. Animals, mostly puppies and adult dogs are regularly abandoned when they get ill from lack of care and food or they are plain no longer wanted.

About Cayo Finds Puppies:
Cayo Finds Puppies is a one woman operation. First, as a founding member of the Cayo Animal Welfare Society, and now on my own I have had over 30 intakes of roughly 130 dogs/puppies in the last 4 years.
An intake can be anything from on single puppy to a whole litter including mother.
An intake can be little work with a mother who has milk for her litter, an affair that involves bottle feeding the whole orphaned  litter every few hours or extremely ill animals who need intensive health care.

I ask for your help funding the Spay/Neuter of this steady stream of puppies coming through my place.

One spay/neuter procedure costs roughly US$50.
The local veterinarians give me a discounted fee for their labor. The necessary medical supplies make up the bulk of this cost.

I am aiming for US$800. That will cover roughly 16 puppies. I currently have 12 in my care.  And I am sure there will be more before the year is out.  
Getting help from you with the spay/neuter costs would be very much appreciated!

What I do for each dog:
~ Eliminate parasites such as fleas, ticks and intestinal worms
~ Provide general health care and good nutrition
~ Socialize the dog
~ Spay/Neuter at a local vet
~ First Shot
~ Adopt to suitable homes

I can cover food and medications out of my pocket and with local help.
I am perfectly happy to do the work but paying for it all on a Social Security income can put a limit on how many puppies I can help.
