Help Abalona Coffee Rebuild After Wildfires

Hi friends, it’s Geoffrey Fiala, and I’m seeking support in the wake of the recent Los Angeles wildfires.

My coffee roasting business, Abalona Coffee, which has been in operation for four years, operating out of Topanga, CA, has had its operations offline for the last month due to the fires and road closures. This business also subsidizes the coffee shop “Abalona Cafe Venice” (the #1 Yelp-voted coffee shop in Venice), which has 5 employees.

I’m seeking donations to ensure the survival of both businesses. I believe in the future success of both, but we need help to get us through this rough time.

Funds will be used to support operating expenses for our cafe (which opened last year), including the purchase of coffee beans, etc. - I.e. goods that we resell, and business overhead such as salaries, rent and utilities for our Venice location. Ordinarily revenue from our wholesale roasting sales would cover some of these expenses, but our Topanga roastery is offline now, and likely for another month.
