Help Aaron Win Against Seizures
Donation protected
Aaron is the consummate husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He is loved and admired by his family and those who know him best for his selflessness, his eagerness to help others, and his dry wit. He adores his wife and daughters. He treasures family time with his parents, four brothers, and his nephews and nieces. One of Aaron's greatest gifts is his ability to connect with kids. Aaron has a wide range of talents and passions including running, carpentry, bread and salads. Where there are day old bagels, you'll find Aaron.
One of Aaron's greatest joys in life was driving the big rig. Sadly, on one of his deliveries, his semi struck a deer and Aaron suffered a head injury. In the time since his accident, Aaron has suffered a wide range of neurological symptoms ranging from blackouts to grand mal seizures, which have only increased in severity and frequency in recent months. Because of these episodes, Aaron has been unable to work for the last year. Doctors have determined he cannot drive his car and he now relies on family for all transportation.
Aaron's doctors have recommended he pursue treatment at an epilepsy treatment center in the Twin Cities which will entail inducing seizures to pinpoint their source in his brain. At that point, they hope to determine the cause and location from which the seizures originate. If successful, it is likely Aaron will undergo brain surgery to remove the trouble spot. His scheduled appointment is less than a month away on June 19. Since Aaron has been out of work, he has lost his insurance. His wife, Lynette, is self-employed and has to pay out of pocket for both her and Aaron's health insurance coverage. With one income and already mounting medical bills from appointments, numerous emergency room visits, and the impending steep cost of the upcoming medical tests and surgery, they are in genuine need of assistance. This is where you can help. Every donation made to Aaron and his family gives him added hope of regaining a much better quality of life and brighter outlook for him and his family.
