Our favorite ex gutter punk is in need of some support. As many of you know my fiancé Aaron has been struggling in the dentistry department for years and is finally wanting to take the step to getting his teeth replaced. For some background on how we got here:

Aaron had a very difficult life. Starting at the age of 13 Aaron fled an unsafe and abusive living environment which kicked off years of off and on homelessness. Being a child living on the streets was not easy and as a result he experienced years of abuse, neglect, and ultimately drug addiction. Today Aaron has been clean from the hard drugs he had become addicted to for 20 years and has built an amazing life with me and his closest friends. Unfortunately getting himself to this point of healing was not able to undo the damage that years of homelessness and addiction had caused. Aaron has been dealing with severe mouth pain and dental related misery for years and has now lost nearly all of his teeth. Through out this time he has fully accepted it as an unfortunate reality he has to endure. The problem is continuing to worsen though and has contributed to other related health issues.

We are now trying to work towards getting Aaron the surgeries and dental work he needs to have a decent quality of life. The issue we’ve found (like with most things in life) is that the solution to all of this is very expensive. We’ve been quoted at a minimum of $36,000 to get this all sorted. We know it’s not likely to get this all covered through a gofundme but even getting a sizable portion of the cost will allow Aaron to start the process.
