On the 1st of January, Aaron’s life changed forever.

While at his home, Aaron was violently beaten and robbed. His attackers stole his phone and money — but far more devastating was the damage they caused to his body. The injuries were so severe that Aaron was forced to have his eye surgically removed in order to save his life.

Aaron is not only a survivor — he is a deeply loved member of his community and a highly respected, experienced guide on Mount Kilimanjaro. For years, he has helped people from around the world achieve their dream of reaching the summit, always doing so with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care.

Now, Aaron needs our help.

The medical costs from his emergency treatment, surgery, hospital care, and ongoing recovery are overwhelming. As he focuses on healing — physically, emotionally, and mentally — the financial burden should not be something he has to face alone.
