Dear Friends,

We are hosting this fundraiser in a show of much-needed support for Aaron – a multi-talented creative entrepreneur, a beloved friend, and my wonderful little brother. Last night in downtown LA, returning from a photoshoot, our family vehicle was broken into and his entire creative design and photography equipment was stolen: professional cameras, lenses, laptop, hard drives, personal items, and the irreplaceable content of his creative portfolio from the past 5 years. As a freelance creative— a dancer, photographer, brand expert and graphic designer—these are the necessary tools that Aaron uses daily.

The professional photography equipment helps Aaron capture everything from product photography to professional headshots for clients. The laptop and its accompanying external hard drive served as a vessel for his creative work, and included all active projects and a near-complete portfolio of artistic creations. Sadly, this burglary means he has lost not only the equipment for producing work, but also all the in-progress content. We are raising money to help him recover from this loss, showing our support for his craft with care.

For those who know Aaron, you know that he is a dedicated friend and a talented artist. No matter the medium, he has always found a way to create.

Just earlier that day, we were the photoshoot clients. Steven and I celebrated a special memory of our own: getting engaged! Aaron was documenting our day, behind the lens, capturing our special day. We have a small selection of “preview” pictures quickly downloaded onto our phones, but the remainder of the images from the weekend have been lost to the hands of thieves.

Any amount helps us show Aaron love and support in this moment of loss and feeling alone. For those who know him, you know he is a gentle soul, a compassionate friend with a quiet spirit. Although he would never ask this for himself, we sincerly wish to help him in a time of need.
