As a grieving mother and grandma, I am reaching out to you with a hurting heart and a plea for help. On July 18, 2025, our lives changed forever when my beloved son and grandson, Aaron and Aidan Kennedy, were in a terrible car accident that claimed the life of Aidan, his precious son and only child. Aaron was critically injured and underwent multiple surgeries in the hospital for a broken back and internal injuries and still needs further medical care.

A devoted single dad, Aaron is not just a hardworking father — he is a good father and a good man, a loving and diligent dad who dedicated his life to raising his son. Father and son were inseparable, the bond between them beautiful and unbreakable; they did everything together, from fishing and hiking to artwork and building intricate Lego structures. Aidan learned about Jesus and the two of them prayed together nightly before bed. They loved each other very much. ️

This tragic accident has left Aaron still battling physical pain from his injuries and living everyday with unimaginable grief and remorse for the unbearable loss of his sweet boy. Aaron is a man who would have given his life for his child — and now he must somehow struggle with his own future while mourning his son.
