On March 26th, 2022 Aaron was climbing in Eldorado Canyon and had a fall that resulted in serious injury. Aaron was immediately taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery, he is currently in stable condition at the hospital and now has a long road ahead to recovery.

As many of you know, Aaron is a master craftsman and works with Movement Gyms (formerly Earth Treks) bringing beauty and life into the climbing gyms. During his recovery, he will not be able to work for an unknown period of time. This lack of income, in addition to medical expenses, will create a great financial burden. Our hope in creating this Go-Fund-Me is that Aaron can focus all of his energy on recovering.

If you haven’t met Aaron in person and you climb at Movement Gyms, you’ve likely interacted with his work- as he has fabricated many things in gyms across the nation from pull-up bars to retail displays, to furniture and more. In addition to his craft, Aaron has touched, moved, and inspired many people through his passion for climbing and his deep care for people. Over the years, you might have known Aaron as a Supervisor at Crystal City, Golden and Englewood Earth Treks gyms. Needless to say, Aaron has contributed so much to the climbing community and now it’s our turn to support him during this challenging time.
