My name is Andrea, I am Aaron’s sister. On May 29, Aaron was doing work on a rooftop, slipped and fell about 20 feet to the ground. He dislocated and fractured both his right shoulder and his pelvis. He is being flown to Oahu (from our home on Kauai) to receive the surgeries he needs and will need to stay there awhile to recover. Aaron has a fiancé, Olivia, and a baby boy, Atlas. With Aaron being out of work for likely a very long time, this will surely cause a huge hardship on their family financially. Not only will he be out of work, but they will also have extremely high medical bills to pay due to him unfortunately not having insurance at the time of the accident due to personal/work-related issues. From what I’ve found, the pelvis surgery will be the most significant at about $50k alone and I’m anticipating quite a bit for the overnight stays, medical transport to Oahu, etc.
