**Help Us Support Our Son and Our Beloved Blue Bay German Shepherd**

Dear Friends and Family,

Our journey began when our two-year-old son had a routine ultrasound that revealed an enlarged spleen. This led us to a pediatric gastroenterologist who conducted a thorough ultrasound and blood tests. The results sent us to infectious disease doctors, who noticed other enlarged lymph nodes and ordered more labs. These tests led us to hematology and ENT specialists.

Infectious disease specialists conducted another test for autoimmune diseases, while hematology ordered additional labs, an X-ray, and another ultrasound. ENT recommended a sleep study, which ultimately led to our son undergoing a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. Post-surgery tests revealed two serious types of strep and anemia. He is now on iron supplements and under continuous monitoring due to his enlarged spleen.

Six months later, our beloved Blue Bay German Shepherd, Blu, went in for treatment for a broken toenail. During the examination, the doctor noticed a swollen foot and conducted an X-ray to rule out broken bones or tick diseases, which all came back negative. However, the doctor found swollen lymph nodes in Blu's back legs and tested them for infections or lymphoma. The devastating results confirmed that Blu has lymphoma. We have been referred to oncology to start chemotherapy.

This has been an incredibly challenging time for our family, both emotionally and financially. We are asking for your support to help cover the medical expenses for our son and Blu. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference and help us focus on their care and recovery. All donations will go to Blüs chemo treatments and appointments and Kladen’s appointments, tests and surgeries.
