- I am the teacher and case manager for Aaron. Aaron is a senior in the Occupational Course of Study diploma program at South Brunswick High School. He has worked very hard in improving himself all around since 9th grade. His ultimate goal is to get his high school diploma, the first in his family. Circumstances out of his control have caused him to be homeless. He is currently living in a motel.
- We thought he would be able to graduate early, finishing this December. After hours and hours of work, we found out Friday before the holiday break that he needs one more credit. We have applied for housing; until then, his only home is the motel. The room is $50.00 a night.
- I have been teaching children with disabilities in Brunswick County for 29 years. OCS students are by far the hardest working, most sincere students. Aaron deserves to have a chance of becoming a successful and productive citizen. Keep him in your prayers and from the bottom of our hearts… Thank you.
