Aaron has been struggling with severe back pain for several years. In 2023, he underwent surgery in Vancouver, which provided some relief. Unfortunately, since January 2025, his pain has returned and intensified. New MRIs confirm that additional surgery is required.
The challenge is that wait times for surgery in Canada are extremely long. Meanwhile, the pain has impacted every part of Aaron’s life, including his ability to work in his field and be fully present with his young family.
After much prayer, research, and discussion, Aaron and his wife, Emma, have made the difficult decision to pursue surgery in Germany – home to some of the world’s leading back specialists, with much shorter wait times.
His surgery is scheduled for October 23, 2025. The cost of surgery is $57,000 CAD, not including travel and accommodation expenses. While the decision to ask for financial help does not come lightly, we believe this surgery will give Aaron the best chance at a pain-free future and the ability to return to work and enjoy life with his family.
If you are able, please consider supporting Aaron on this journey – whether through financial contributions, prayer, or by sharing this campaign with others. Every bit of support means the world to them.
Thank you for walking alongside Aaron and his family in this season.
