Hello Everyone, my name is Eric Christians, and this GoFundMe page is for my brother Aaron.

A little background:

At the beginning of August, Aaron was working on his house and notice a pain in his left thigh. This pain migrated to his left calf and made it hard for him to work on Monday last week. Taking advice from his co-workers he got it checked out and discovered he had a blood clot in his leg. The blood draw they took to discover his blood clot also yielded unusual results in his White Blood Count at the lab. After doctor urging, Aaron's buddy, Nick drove him to the Emergency Room at Mankato on Friday Evening. More test were run and preliminary tests indicated Leukemia.

Aaron was ambulanced to Mayo Clinic in Rochester early Saturday Morning where they put an IV stint into his arm and neck, bone marrow was extracted from his hip for testing and filters put into his cardiovascular system to catch the remaining blood clots. He is being pumped with IV fluids and platelets and pain meds for his swollen leg/blood clots. Aaron has underwent more testing Sunday and Monday with CAT and PET Scans and more blood draws. Mayo doctors have confirmed Leukemia diagnosis and are awaiting lab results of which type of Leukemia it is so a proper treatment plan can be administered. Initial Chemo treatment will begin this week and continue for a few weeks at Mayo Clinic. Aaron is in good spirits, but gets tired easily.

This GoFundMe page is to help my brother Aaron with the unexpected medical expenses and his living expenses for his home in Montgomery that he will have during his blood clot recovery and chemo treatment. Funds raised from this will help Aaron with his medical deductible, and to help with his mortgage and utilities while he is unable to work. It is still unknown as to when Aaron will return to work (still up in the air of when that will be) and he will be limited in what he can and can not do when he is able to return. Once released from Mayo Clinic he will have additional chemo treatments down the road.
