Help Aaron Biscombe Overcome Spinal Injury
Donation protected
We are the friends, family and community of Aaron Alexis Biscombe, beloved artist, writer, musician and filmmaker who needs urgent support for two medical procedures to treat a chronic, painful and debilitating spinal injury.
Several years ago, Aaron experienced a bad fall in the NYC subway that damaged several spinal discs is his lower back. Since then, he has been fighting invisible, chronic pain that has progressively worsened to the point we find him at today: struggling to stand for more than 10 seconds, unable to walk without a cane and struggling to even sleep from the constant pain.
Laid off from his job at Netflix in 2023, a challenging job market and lack of steady work has left Aaron unable to pay for the physical therapy that helped him manage his condition.
Unfortunately, a recent flare in his lower back seems to have significantly and rapidly worsened his situation, resulting in a trip to urgent care where his blood pressure dropped to 70 and he nearly lost consciousness due to the intensity of the pain he was experiencing. Because of the immediate need, we are reaching out for aid to get him treatment now.
The procedures he needs involve spinal surgery (20k) and a discseel procedure (15k) to get Aaron back on his feet.
With the daunting costs of medical bills, we are calling upon mutual aid to support Aaron in this moment of urgent need.
Please join us in helping Aaron get back on the road to full recovery.
