My husband, Aaron, is in the fight of his life. On New Year's Eve, 2016, doctors said he had only 3 to 15 months to live. Praise God, six years later, Aaron and our family are still on a journey of love and healing!
Aaron is battling three brain cancers: glioblastoma multiforme, anaplastic astrocytoma, and oligodendroglioma. Long words that can strike fear and worry in any heart. However, God comforts and strengthens us, and brings us friends and family like you to pray and help.
Since October of 2021, Aaron has been on new treatments. The good news is... they seem to be working! His ability to talk is improving and he feels like is he "coming out of the oblivion." His first follow-up scan showed a 9% decrease in total tumor size! Before this treatment, we have only been able to say "no new growth."
However, as you can imagine, these treatments are expensive and not covered by insurance.
To continue Aaron's treatments, we need $17,000 per month for at least six months, for a total of $102,000 or more. And that's just for treatment. We could also use help in meeting our household expenses. Aaron runs our small business and is our family's sole breadwinner. If he can't work during his treatment, we will need help paying bills and keeping the lights on.
Needless to say, it's been a challenging season. But with God, all things are possible!
Every donation helps: large or small, one-time or monthly. We appreciate your contribution and will be good stewards of every penny that flows to us.
Whether or not you donate, we ask that you please pray and share!
We are forever grateful for the difference you make in our lives!
Please help Aaron beat brain cancer!
