Two of my dearest friends and their family have recently been victims of homophobic hate crimes.
They have been targeted by a “group” of self-proclaimed neo-nazis and are at a point where they are now living in fear.
The tires of their car have all been slashed, the security cameras that they bought for protection have been destroyed, a brick has been hurled at their home with the intent to break their front window (luckily he missed). Several of their neighbour’s vehicles have also been destroyed, simply for parking in front of a gay home, “fuck fags” was carved into one of the vehicles, side view mirrors have been smashed, driver’s side window was smashed, and a threatening note signing off with a swastika and a “Heil Hitler”.
I am deeply disturbed by the fact that this is happening and would like to help raise funds for this family to feel safe again.
