Help Aaron and Elizabeth Go to Nationals

Aaron and Elizabeth of the West Potomac debate team have qualified for the National Speech and Debate Association's National Championship Tournament, which will take place in Louisville, Kentucky in June! This is the biggest debate tournament in the nation, with over 6,000 competitors representing 1,500 schools.

We need your help—even the smallest donation can help us get there. Our debaters are incredibly passionate and hardworking, but lack access to some of the resources of other schools (debate camps, additional coaches, etc.), and in the past have been unable to compete in the national-level tournaments they've qualified for based on cost. Moreover, despite a very successful debate career, Aaron and Elizabeth have only been able to attend one tournament together in person, so being able to travel to Louisville and compete in person would mean a lot.

Our success depends on the support of our friends, family, and community. We are hoping to raise $3,500 to cover the cost of flights, hotel, transportation, tournament fees, and daily expenses.
