Help Aaron, a Devoted Father of Four, Beat Leukemia

Aaron’s Fight: A Father’s Battle for Life

"When Aaron told his son he had cancer, the first thing he asked was, 'Are you gonna die?'"

Aaron is 32, a father of four beautiful children, and someone who has always tackled life head-on. But leukemia doesn’t fight fair.

Doctors have told Aaron that without aggressive treatment, his chances of survival drop significantly. He needs chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant, and months of hospital care—but even with insurance, the costs are overwhelming.
The Diagnosis: Life Turned Upside Down

A month ago, Aaron was up before the sun, lacing up his boots, grabbing his coffee, heading to work. At night, he’d come home, throw his kids over his shoulders, and they’d wrestle on the couch until they passed out watching cartoons. He was invincible—or at least he thought he was.

Then came the fatigue. The bruises that wouldn’t fade. The night sweats that soaked through his sheets. After a visit to the ER, the doctors told him the devastating truth: acute myeloid leukemia (AML). His bone marrow wasn’t producing enough blood cells. His platelets had dropped dangerously low. And just like that, everything changed.

"I ain’t gonna lie, when they first told me, I cried. All I could think about was my kids. My baby, Story, isn’t even crawling yet. Avery, my three-year-old, still climbs into my lap every morning. My son Aaron Jr says he wants to grow up just like me. And my oldest, Brycen, keeps telling me to fight. I gotta be here for them. And that’s why I’m fighting."

The Fear: What If I Don’t Make It?

Aaron tries to stay strong, but in the quiet moments—when the IV drips steadily in the hospital room, when he wakes up gasping for air from the pain—his biggest fear creeps in.

"What if I don’t make it? What if this fight isn’t enough?"

"I don’t like to think about it. But at night, when it’s quiet, when the hospital lights hum and the IV drips in my arm, I wonder… what happens if I don’t make it?"

"Who’s going to teach Aaron Jr how to shave? Who’s going to cheer the loudest at Story’s graduation? Who will fix Brycen’s bike or make Avery’s favorite pancakes on Sundays?"
"I’m fighting because I refuse to let that be my story. But I need help."
