Greetings from Aarohi, Tracy's vibrant Bengali community organization! We are a group of passionate families dedicated to preserving and celebrating our rich cultural heritage, creating a warm and welcoming "home away from home" right here in Tracy, California. Our mission is to forge new friendships, keep our traditions flourishing, and provide a platform for our children to learn and appreciate their beautiful roots.

This year, we are thrilled to announce our plans for a grand Diwali celebration on Saturday, October 18th.

Diwali, the Festival of Lights, is one of the most significant festivals in our culture. It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. It’s a time for joy, togetherness, and renewal—a time to light up our homes and hearts with hope and happiness. For our community, this celebration is more than just an event; it's an opportunity to strengthen our bonds, share our culture with our wonderful neighbors, and create lasting memories for our children.

As a community-run organization, we pour our hearts into making these events possible. However, hosting a celebration that truly captures the spirit and splendor of Diwali requires resources. We want to create an authentic and unforgettable experience for everyone, filled with the mesmerizing glow of traditional diyas (earthen lamps), intricate rangoli art, enchanting cultural performances, and the delicious taste of festive cuisine.
