Hi, I'm Carly. Many of my friends know me as Garbage Bunny.

This is Aang (Yes, named by my sister as the last Airbender). He has been by my side for the past 12 years, bringing joy and peace to so many through so much. Always full of energy, curiously and most of all affection. One of the few cats that ADORES belly rubs, and will snuggle to anyone who sits or lays down anywhere near him.

My sweetheart Aang has been facing a sudden medical emergency, so far requiring 3 vet visits and possibly more to come.

Many of my friends know him from his outpouring of affection and melting into my arms in discord "Cat cams". More know him for snuggling up during their visits to my home. The sweetest, chillest, most affectionate kitty I've ever known.

A few days ago he was refusing food and water, and showed signs of blood in his urin. Originally suspected to be a blockage caused by inflammation.

Though the blockage has been medicated, after a few days at home his overall condition has worsened. Possibly due to compounding issues we have yet to discover. Going from hardly eating and drinking to refusing everything including the treats that became the only thing to perk him up.

Continued xrays, blood work, and medicine are needed to find and truly tackle the source of what's causing his discomfort amd dehydration. I want to exhaust all possible options that would allow him to continue living a long and prosperous life, bringing joy to my friends and peace to me.

If his pain is preventable, I want to do anything possible to help him. I understand at times when it is a loved ones time to go, but this is not his time. Not if we can help him make a full recovery and return to the bundle of joy we all know.

Any amout given will help me make sure that this is a possibility, and that a potentially long, healthy joyful life isn't haulted prematurely because of a dollar sign.

Oct 29 5:30pm Edit: Results so far from the hospitalization have not been optimistic. He is more comfortable, but levels have not gone up as much as expected.

This may be my last night with him. Giving him as much love and comfort as I can before taking him back in the morning.

The money from this gofundme will still go towards his medical bills, ensuring that we exhausted all resources and give him a comfortable farewell
