My name is Tilawat Ali Mir (Farhan) and I am starting this page for my cousin Mir Intesar Ali (Aamer) who was diagnosed with blood cancer (Acute myeloid leukemia) in August 2019.
News of this diagnosis is nerve wrenching for anyone and Aamer being 35 years old with two kids and a wife to take care was completely devastated to hear this. He is currently being treated in Apollo Hospital Hyderabad, India and have gone through couple chemo therapy sessions already but the expenses have taken a drastic toll financially and emotionally on him and his family.
Friends and family are doing everything possible to help but are unfortunately lagging behind in meeting the costs. Hospitalization, medications, kids' school expenses are just some of the many expenses they are struggling with. More financial support is needed in order to continue further chemotherapy sessions and manage rest of the day to day household expenses.
How it all began:
Life was normal for Aamer with two kids (8 and 5), wife and both his parents under one roof. It was a happy family until he started feeling unusually tired and exhausted doing normal day to day tasks. Being active in sports, there was time when he used to play badminton for an hour or more, now seemed to get exhausted and breathless in just a few minutes.
His family noticed how pale he was looking and insisted on getting himself checked out. Upon visiting the doctor came a shocker; he was told he has blood cancer (acute myeloid leukemia) and that he needed to start immediate treatment. With all the emotional and physical trauma the family was going through things started to slowly take a pace and he started the chemotherapy sessions. Aamer always helped others when needed and these good deeds came back when all family members and friends are doing everything possible to help him and his family financially and emotionally.
Considering his age, will power and determination to fight this battle, doctors are positive that he has very good chance to beat it upon completing his treatment.
So I pray that may Almighty give him complete recovery and make it easier on him and his family during these tough times. I also pray that may Almighty protect us all from these tests. I request to the community who believes that helping others never goes in vain but indeed comes back in the best form possible to pray and donate for this cause. I am positive that with your prayers and help, Aamer and family will come out of this victorious. I will be managing the funds and will keep you all updated as we go along.
