Aaliyah is an 8-year-old girl who has profound non-verbal Autism and has faced many challenges. Life can be hard. One thing that she finds great joy in is attending summer camp at The Arc of Southeast Iowa, which is a camp for special needs children just like Aaliyah. This is her 3rd year. It is 8 weeks for 7 hours a day and is filled with adventures to different places, fantastic staff who are trained, who LOVE the kids, and so much more.

Our little family of 2 is on a fixed income and camp is an hour away one way. I drive that 4 time a day. Many people have said to me, "You can't afford to take her the rest of the summer, stop going." I will not just lay down and quit when I know this is so important to Aaliyah. So here I am asking for her friends on Facebook to consider helping her.
