If you know me, you know I’ve never been the type to ask for help or money. I’ve been on my own since I was 17, growing and standing on my own two feet. I grew up watching what I did not want to become, and that shaped me more than anything else ever could. Having a father involved in crime showed me the consequences of the wrong path and gave me the motivation to choose a better one. I also have a six year old sister who looks up to me, and protecting her future means everything to me. I want her to see that no matter where you come from, you can still rise, still choose good, and still become someone who matters. Since I was young, I’ve wanted to help people and make a real difference in my community. Life has not always been easy, but it has taught me compassion, strength, and purpose. I do not just want success for myself. I want to be someone who brings hope, safety, and positive change to others

I’m excited to start the police academy in May, but I have to self-sponsor and pay for everything out of pocket, including tuition and uniforms. I won’t be able to work while attending classes full-time, so covering these costs upfront is a big challenge. The funds raised will go directly toward my tuition and the required uniform, allowing me to focus on my training and give my all to this new chapter.
