Help Us Get to HOSA Nationals!
Hi everyone! We’re a group of four students—Harmeh Singh, Grace Cano, Julianah Torres, and Maybelline Duran—from the Academy of Arts, Careers and Technology (AACT) in Reno, Nevada. We’re proud to share that we’ve qualified for HOSA Nationals, a huge accomplishment that reflects months of dedication and hard work!
What is HOSA?
HOSA – Future Health Professionals is an international organization for students interested in health science careers. It provides opportunities to develop skills, leadership, and knowledge through competitions, networking, and real-world experiences. Nationals is the highest level of competition, bringing together the best students from across the country.
At the beginning of the school year, we were told that our school’s CTE (Career and Technical Education) program would fully fund any students who qualified for nationals. Unfortunately, we’ve recently learned that those funds are no longer available due to unexpected budget constraints.
We’re now facing the challenge of raising the money ourselves in a short amount of time. Your support would help cover the costs of travel, lodging, registration, and other expenses so we can proudly represent our school and state at this incredible event.
Any donation—big or small—brings us one step closer to our goal.
Thank you so much for believing in us and supporting our journey!
With gratitude,
Harmeh, Grace, Julianah, and Maybelline
