Faolan, the Labrador-Border Collie guardian of Korinji Zen monastery in Wisconsin (www.korinji.org), performs his duties flawlessly: guarding the grounds, providing emotional support to stressed-out monastics, and welcoming visitors with clownish humor and sweetness. He's been a fixture here his whole life, beloved by all.
At 11 Faolan has good years left...but he recently blew out his left ACL and can't get around. Surgery (scheduled for 12/18/19) can fix this and return him to full activity. But we need help to cover the expense. The estimated cost for this common procedure and follow-up is $3600.
Any help you can give is deeply appreciated. Help us to get Faolan off his bed and back outside barking at coyotes where he belongs.
