I’m creating this fundraiser for my best friend of more than 16 years, someone who has been like family to me through every stage of life.

Wissal is going through the hardest time of her life, and I’m creating this fundraiser to give her a second chance.

A few years ago, she was full of hope and ambition. She dreamed of opening a small café — a cozy place built with love, hard work, and endless dedication. She invested her time, energy, savings, and heart into making it succeed. Sadly, despite all her efforts, the business failed and left her with heavy debts.

But she never gave up.

She found a job and kept fighting to rebuild her life. She still believed that one day she could create something of her own and slowly pay off everything she owed. Along the way, people encouraged her, promised partnerships, and gave her hope — but when things became difficult, they walked away and left her alone to face the consequences.

Today, the debts have grown beyond what she can handle alone. She is now facing legal action and possible jail time because of unpaid cheques and loans she took during those desperate attempts to survive and stand back on her feet.

What hurts the most is that she is not a criminal. She is a young woman who tried, failed, stood up again, and kept trying. Someone who worked hard, believed in her dreams, and never wanted to give up on life.

After everything she has been through, her biggest dream now is simply to sleep peacefully without the fear and nightmares of going to jail.

To me, she will always be the girl in that photo from 13 years ago — full of hope, laughter, and dreams for the future.

I’m asking for help because I truly believe she deserves another chance to rebuild her life.
