Help Ukrainian Hockey Player Achieve His Dream

Meet Stas, an 18-year-old with a passion for hockey that knows no limits. Born and raised in Ukraine, Stas has faced challenges most of us could never imagine. Yet, through it all, his love for hockey has remained a main focus.

In Ukraine, Stas spent countless hours training with the goal of one day playing elite hockey in Canada. His dedication and talent were evident and he was on the upward trajectory of his hockey career in Europe. But when the conflict in Ukraine escalated, Stas and his family were forced to make unimaginable decisions. His determination led him to Canada, where he has trained and worked tirelessly to prove himself on the ice. Recently, his hard work paid off when he was offered a spot on a KIJHL hockey team—an incredible achievement for any young athlete. This opportunity brings him one step closer to his goal of playing hockey at the highest levels.

However, with this opportunity comes significant financial challenges. This is where we need your help. We are rallying together to support Stas financially. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly towards covering his expenses, billeting and team fees, allowing him to focus on what he does best—playing hockey.

Team fees this season will be $7300.

KIJHL league fees this season will be $850.

Billet fees for this season will be $750 per month. (September-March).

Additional costs may include travel to visit family as well as some discretionary funds for miscellaneous needs.
