We are helping our friend who has not wanted to disclose her name here due to concerns of safety with all the anti-trans attacks going on. She is a young Black trans woman who has the ability to secure housing she is currently staying in, but due to a delay in starting her new role, her housing is at risk and she needs to secure first month's rent and deposit, which is a total of $2700.

The easiest way to do this is to get 50 people to donate $55.00 - can you ask 5 people to pledge $55.00? If enough of us can get 5 people to pledge this, we should be able to divide it up and meet the goal pretty fast.
