Hey Pumpkins,
We’ve got a chance to rally behind one of our own! Darren Elliott, a proud Pumpkin and Head Coach at Oxford City Stars, is raising funds to support his son, Noah, as he takes his hockey journey to the next level.
Noah, 11, has been selected to represent England in Slovakia and Scotland through the England Elite Player Pathway Programme. As we all know, hockey is an expensive sport, and in the UK, there’s no government or league funding to cover these costs. Parents bear the full burden of travel, camps, and equipment, making it incredibly challenging to seize these opportunities.
100% of the funds raised will go toward covering Noah’s trips to Slovakia and Scotland, including transport, hotels, and food. If we’re lucky enough to exceed the target, any extra will help cover the cost of new equipment Noah might need to keep performing at his best.
Let’s come together to help Darren help Noah represent England and hopefully the UK with pride.
Every little bit counts. Let’s show how the Pumpkins take care of their own!
