Hi Friends,

I am hoping to help my wonderful and dear co-worker get on her feet. She is a para working with the elementary Autism population in the Shawnee Mission school district, and she is outstanding. She has a heart for this work—her younger brother has an autism diagnosis and now her 4-year-old son has been recently diagnosed as well. She is young (25) and is working so hard to build a strong foundation for her small family. Paras aren't paid during breaks from school, so Christmas break was a blessing, but also a struggle. Anything raised will go directly to her bills like rent, utilities, car payment, and necessities for her child. She is finding it difficult to find assistance without going through high-interest, short-term avenues. She is absolutely doing the job she is meant to do, and I’d love to bless her with some help as she is starting out her life as a young mom.
