My name is Jude, and I’m raising funds on behalf of a dear friend of mine who is currently fleeing abuse. My friend needs to leave as soon as possible, but as a college student about to graduate, her financial options are limited. As a student myself, I’m not able to offer much more than spearheading this campaign for her. After months of trying to make it work, surviving human trafficking, stalking, harassment and endless manipulation, the excruciating mental toll of living in fear has caught up to her, forcing her to potentially abandon her degree and flee the state.

My friend needs to remain anonymous in order to protect her from her stalker and ensure she can start over in a new state. She and I have been friends since high school; she is a phenomenal artist and I can’t wait to see her thrive when she’s finally able to be safe.

All funds from this campaign will go directly to supporting my friend’s logistical moving costs, including paying for food, gas, and housing as she makes the drive out to where I am. Any additional funds will be used to help her with security deposits, rent, applications for housing, and other resettlement needs.
