I am Hamid from the United Kingdom. I launched this campaign on behalf of my sister Salama from Yemen. She contacted me and explained her situation. She has asked me to create this GoFundMe on her behalf. This is her message:

"My dear brothers and sisters, may God protect and guide you.

I am your sister Salama from Yemen. I am a widow and a mother supporting a large family of children and women. We live in a rented house and suffer from extreme poverty and very difficult living conditions.

The days have worn us down, our resources are dwindling, and we can no longer even provide a loaf of bread for our children. We are suffering from hunger, we lack adequate bedding, and we cannot afford the rent or even drinking water.

I appeal to people of goodwill and compassion, hoping that God will provide us with someone to extend a helping hand and assist us in providing the following:

Basic food supplies

Mattresses and blankets

Rent

We are orphans, with no provider but God Almighty, and no stable source of income. Everything you offer us, God willing, is a lifeline for a family struggling to make ends meet.

I ask God to make your donation a reward for your good deeds, to multiply your reward, and to relieve your distress as you relieve ours.

May God reward you in this life and the hereafter."

Today, we extend our deepest gratitude and prayers for your contribution to building a home for my sister Salama, who lives in a dilapidated rented house. She plans to build her own house for her children with the help of your donations. This is her message:
