Help a Working Mother avoid eviction

Hello, my name is Alisa Finch.

I am reaching out asking for help to avoid an eviction and to have a fair chance to recover from being sick with covid in January 2023.

I have been living alone and working in Daytona and Ormond beach Florida since November 2021. I have worked extremely hard here to achieve the goal of a proper apartment and location for myself to live, while also working through and battling cancer. With hurricane Ian this past September, and then hurricane Nicole in November, I worked hard to put in as many hours as I could to help those who needed the time off and to get myself caught up and possibly ahead.

On January 1st, 2023, I woke up with a 103 fever and a multitude of severe covid symptoms, I could barely even walk. This illness took me out of commission for over 6 weeks, and I was unable to work.

I am happy to say that my energy levels have returned to normal and I am almost at 100%. I am blessed to be alive. I do have the ability to keep working and moving forward, I only need help with my rent money for the time I was unable to work in January and February to avoid this eviction I'm faced with. I have been working diligently to obtain a safe place to stay for myself.

All funding in Florida is extremely limited, if not completely exhausted.
