Help a Widowed Mom and Son Start Anew

Hi. I am a widowed single mom, and I still live in the house where my husband experienced his terminal illness, which ended in death. We also mounted astronomical hospital bills we were unable to pay, so my credit is not great.

Since I own the house and the mortgage is low, I intended to stay, but four years later, it is still making me sad. We bought the house to raise our family in, and now it is just me, my son, and our cat. I know I'm not being the best mom I can be in this sad place, and I have finally decided to move.

The cost of moving, sadly, is more than I can afford. I have a job in the new town starting later this summer, but I can't commute as it is too far. We booked movers for July 10, but the personal loans I applied for to pay for it were declined by first one, then another lender.

I am reaching out for help because my only priority is making life better for my little boy, and I can't complete the plan without funds.
