Help a widow save her knight in shining armor

We are getting closer to our goal, but June 30 is quickly approaching.

I'm fundraising for my dear friend Sheena's fiance, Richard. Sheena and I met in 2020 after she had her third precious girl. She was raising her daughters on her own after her husband tragically passed away a few months prior. After moving back to her hometown to be near family, she was reunited with Richard, an old high school friend. Richard had also recently lost his wife and it wasn't long before he and Sheena connected and fell deeply in love.

The week after Mother's Day and after several months of sickness and Dr. visits, Richard discovered that he has stage 2 pancreatic cancer (adenocarcinoma). His medical team stated that he is a great candidate for surgery to remove the tumors (only 20% of patients diagnosed qualify for surgery). The surgery needs to be performed asap for the highest success rate to be possible and is scheduled for July 11 at the Coastal Bend Cancer Center. He is self-employed as a contractor and will pay for the surgery out of pocket. The total cost of surgery, hospital stay, and outpatient treatment is $25,000. He has $15,000 and needs $10,000 more BY JUNE 30!

Sheena shared with me that "Richard has brought such life, laughter, and love into our lives. We would be so devastated if he was taken out. Especially now that the girls are older and understand things more than before".
