Hi, my name is Mike Johnson, and I’m raising funds on behalf of my good friend, Larry “LC” Capps — a military veteran, a kidney transplant survivor, and a man who refuses to give up.
LC proudly served his country, but like too many veterans, he’s now facing an uphill battle with his health and financial stability. He is a diabetic and underwent a life-saving kidney transplant — a procedure that changed his life, but left him with permanent health complications and high ongoing medical costs.
Despite his physical challenges, LC remains humble and hardworking. He currently pushes carts at a local grocery chain just to make ends meet. But the reality is that the physical toll on his body is simply too much. He deserves rest, healing, and a little bit of peace — not to fight for survival every day after all he’s given.
The money raised will go directly to:
• Covering out-of-pocket medical expenses
• Daily living costs while he recovers strength
• Transportation to appointments and follow-up care
• Healthy food, diabetic supplies, and essentials
LC is not the kind to ask for help. But I am — for him. Because he’s earned it. Because he matters. And because he shouldn’t have to fight alone.
Please consider donating what you can, or sharing this campaign to spread the word. Every contribution makes a difference.
Let’s stand by LC the way he stood for us.
