Urgent: Help Mike, Jamie, and Michaela Find a Pet-Friendly Home

Hello everyone,

We need your help. My family—myself, Mike Brobst, a disabled Navy veteran, my fiancée Jamie, who recently underwent back surgery and was let go from her job, and our autistic daughter Michaela—have been evicted. We are desperately seeking a new, pet-friendly home for ourselves and our three service dogs. Currently, we have no vehicle or way to move our belongings.

Our Story:

In 2017, I suffered a severe stroke that left me with significant challenges. Jamie's recent surgery and job loss have added to our financial struggles. Michaela relies on the stability of a home, and our service dogs are essential for my mobility and daily tasks.

We moved into our current house in January, expecting to share rent with others. Unfortunately, they left after one month, leaving us with the entire rent and utility bills. Despite our best efforts, we have been evicted and are now in urgent need of a new place to live.

Why Your Help Matters:

Our family is facing immense hardship. My disability, Jamie's recovery, and Michaela's special needs, combined with the essential role of our service dogs, have created a perfect storm of financial difficulties. We urgently need a stable, pet-friendly home to heal, recover, and provide the security Michaela and our service dogs need.

We aim to raise $6,000 to secure a new home, cover essential expenses, and address our immediate moving needs. Here's how the funds will be used:

Utility Setup: $300

Moving Expenses: $500

Emergency Fund: $500

Medical and Daily Living: $1,200

Pet Supplies and Care: $300

Temporary Storage / Temporary Vehicle: $700
