Our goal is to provide affordable, reliable services to help with every day, real living situations through the use of this specialized equipment. A Lawn A Day Landscaping, LLC began as a heartfelt volunteer effort by a dedicated military service-disabled veteran who wanted to give back to the community of Black Mountain, NC. Over time, this passion for service blossomed into a thriving, Small Business Administration-certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. A Lawn A Day has become a lifeline for residents needing professional lawn care services. The recent devastation caused by Hurricane Helene has increased the demand for their expertise, as many properties require urgent maintenance and restoration. However, as the business expands to meet these growing needs, there is an immediate challenge: the need for specialized equipment to enable the owner to continue his work, despite physical limitations caused by his service-related injuries.

We are launching this fundraiser to help A Lawn A Day Landscaping purchase a Ventrac specialty tractor with attachments, a game-changing piece of equipment designed to perform a variety of tasks that would otherwise require strenuous manual labor on many terrains in our area. This equipment will not only empower the owner to operate more efficiently despite his physical challenges but also allow the business to scale its impact and serve more hurricane-affected properties. By contributing to this effort, you are directly supporting a veteran-owned small business in its mission to rebuild and beautify the community, one lawn at a time. Together, you help A Lawn A Day Landscaping continue its incredible journey of service, resilience, and growth! The goal is to purchase this equipment and have it operational by April 2025! A Lawn A Day already has many large work requests lining up and it will not be possible to support without this specialty tractor. All funds will go directly to the purchase of equipment to support our mission.

The cost: A used Ventrac tractor from a dealer is approximately $25,000. Then, there are around 10 basic attachments that go with it that allow the operator to mow, lift, doze, and SO much more without leaving the machine. This is crucial for someone with disabilities who still serves their community in this manner!

What happens if the full goal is not met?

We will use any raised funds for equipment necessary to provide services. Example, towards transportation equipment, lawn equipment, etc. All equipment purchased using any funds from here will be available for use towards any services that may be provided at no or low cost! :)
