I don’t usually ask for help, but I’ve reached a point where I need support navigating a situation that has followed me since my military service.

When I initially filed my VA disability claim, I was pregnant. Because of my pregnancy, I was unable to complete certain medical evaluations, including imaging that was required for several of my physical claims. I was informed that these evaluations would be postponed until they could be completed safely.

Unfortunately, that did not happen. Instead, multiple physical claims were denied and documented as though I had failed to attend my appointments. As a result, conditions that I believe deserve proper evaluation were never fully reviewed.

After years of trying to move forward, I have decided to seek legal representation to help correct the record and ensure my claim receives a fair review. The attorney I would like to hire requires approximately $2,500 to begin working on my case.

Like many veterans, I am balancing family responsibilities, work, and the challenges that come with transitioning into civilian life. I am currently building a small training business while working to create a stable future for my family, but between business expenses, bills, groceries, and transportation costs, saving for legal representation has been difficult.

My goal is not to seek anything I haven’t earned. I simply want the opportunity to have my service-connected conditions properly evaluated and considered.
