Hi everyone. This fundraiser was created to help a veteran parent and her child get through a very difficult moment. I’m hoping that the kindness of strangers might help them get through it.

The mother is a military veteran raising a young disabled child who needs extra support and stability. She has always worked hard to stay independent and provide a safe, consistent home for her child.

Recently she experienced a medical emergency that required time away from work. Losing income during that recovery caused bills to fall behind quickly, and now she is facing the possibility of eviction. Her car is also at risk, which would make it extremely difficult for her to continue working and caring for her child.

She has spent weeks reaching out to every resource she could find and applying for assistance programs. Unfortunately many programs say she makes slightly too much to qualify, and some veteran organizations were unable to help due to strict eligibility requirements.

Right now she is simply trying to keep stable housing and transportation so she can continue working and maintain the routine her child depends on.

Anyone who has raised a child knows how important a stable home environment is, and that stability is even more critical for children who rely on routine and familiarity.

If you are able to donate, even a small amount can help this family get through a very difficult moment and regain stability. If donating isn’t possible, sharing the fundraiser would mean just as much.

Funds will go toward catching up on housing costs, preventing eviction, and maintaining transportation so she can continue working.
