My name is Robert King, and I'm a 60-year-old Air Force veteran. After years of battling depression, anxiety, and alcohol addiction, I’m proud to say I’m approaching two years of sobriety. But right now, I’m facing the hardest challenge of my life, and I need your help.

I’ve been renting a room for 20 years in a toxic environment with an abusive, alcoholic housemate who has now told me to leave. I want to move out, but I can’t afford the deposit and rent for a new place. I’m also struggling to keep my car on the road, which I need to get to work as a janitor at a nursing home. Recently, I was pulled over for expired tags and no insurance. I’m trying to fix everything, but bills, rent hikes, and missed work due to illness have left me drowning in debt.
