My son, a devoted Christian and Veteran, is currently facing one of the most difficult challenges of his life. He is fighting for equal custody of his energetic 2 1/2 year old son, and the legal fees have become overwhelming. Just two weeks before his court hearing, my son lost his job. My son has always dreamt of being a father, but for various reasons, that dream only became reality later in life. Now, he is struggling to provide for his son and ensure he can remain a loving, equal presence in his life. As a retired mother, I have left my spouse to come and support him, helping with child care and the mounting legal expenses.

My son has contributed to his community his entire life and is a combat veteran. He was a firefighter, a paramedic, a teacher. a welder, and now a gig worker. The system is challenging these days. He is now trying to rely on his community for immediate support. Much appreciated!
