Help a Veteran Dad in Crisis – Urgent Need

Hi, my name is Angie, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Brandon—a dedicated father, U.S. military veteran, and someone who has always shown up for others. Today, he’s the one in urgent need of our support.

Brandon is a single father who has fallen on incredibly hard times. After recently starting a new job, he was placed on indefinite medical leave by his doctor due to serious health issues. Because of this, he lost the job he had just begun, through no fault of his own. He wants to work. He lives to provide for his child. But right now, he physically can’t.

He’s already exhausted his savings and retirement funds just trying to stay afloat. While he is fortunate to have VA medical and prescription coverage, his immediate needs—like rent, utilities, and gas for essential medical appointments—are urgent. He has applied for assistance through state and VA programs, but there is no clear timeline for review or support.

Meanwhile, the bills are due now.
